Welcome to Sukjin Vincent Han’s webpage.

I am a Professor of Economics at University of Bristol, UK, specializing in econometric theory and applied econometrics.

My research interests span causal inference, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. I focus on problems related to treatment effects and policy evaluation, treatment allocations and policy learning, as well as associated non-standard inference challenges. I am also interested in leveraging unstructured data (e.g., images, text) for economic analyses via machine learning and in exploring the role of AI in social science research.

Outside my research but motivated from it, I participate in artistic projects, collaborating with sculptors, writers, designers, and musicians.

Here is my CV︎︎︎.
